Website Accessibility Certification

Once a website complies with all of the checkpoints for a particular level of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) we issue a certificate of compliance which lists all the pages that were audited, what level of compliance was achieved and the date the site was audited.

We also issue a logo that may be displayed on all the pages of the site that have achieved the relevant compliance. The logo links to an on-line version of the certificate.

Level A Certification

Example Level A Certification Logo

To achieve a level A rating the website displaying the logo must comply with each priority 1 checkpoint listed in the WCAG version 1.0.

Level AA Certification

Example Level AA Certification Logo

To achieve an AA rating the website displaying the logo must comply with each priority 1 and priority 2 checkpoint listed in the WCAG version 1.0.

Level AAA Certification

Example Level AAA Certification Logo

To achieve an AAA rating the website displaying the logo must comply with every checkpoint listed in the WCAG version 1.0.

The date displayed on the logo is the date the site was last audited by W 3 A inspectors. If a page was changed subsequent to the audit date then it may no longer comply with all of the checkpoints for the rating it had achieved at the time of the audit.
